Experience in development and deliveries of wheelsets and their parts for various applications and technical conditions to more than 70 countries worldwide give Bonatrans the ability to provide customers with products that are optimized for concrete applications.

The product portfolio includes driving wheelsets for the most demanding applications with high accuracies, assembled with gearboxes, brake disks, bearing systems, as well as wheelsets for freight transport, where it is necessary to address the issue of the effects of heat loading occurring during braking of heavy wagons.

Bonatrans also deals intensively with the issue of reducing the noise that occurs during operation of rolling stock, which is the main environmental impact of railway wheels. In this area, the company offers its own original design of rubber sprung resilient wheels for urban and suburban mass transport and also various models of noise absorbers “fine-tuned” on the basisi of customer requirements and needs.

Although we endeavor to create a tailor-made product for the customer, excessive diversity of product types used by a single customer would be inefficient. Therefore, we work with our key customers on a common unification of products for individual utilization types.

It is natural that rolling stock in operation requires replacement of worn parts. Spare parts thus represent a considerable portion of Bonatrans production.
