Integrated Management System

High and steady quality of products and services is an implicit and necessary pre-requisite of supplies for the railway industry, especially in case of wheelsets, which directly influence the safety of the railway rolling stock. BONATRANS GROUP GROUP a.s. considers ensuring and continuous improvement of quality of its products, services and systems to be one of its primary priorities.

The quality system of BONATRANS GROUP GROUP a.s. was established and certified successfully for the first time in 1993 in compliance with EN ISO 9001 by the German inspection company TÜV CERT. Since then the company has obtained other quality system certificates, as well as railway operators’ certificates and product certificates. The environmental management system of the company was certified in 2000 in compliance with EN ISO 14001. The quality system of the company was certified according to the new revision of ISO 9001:2000 in 2001. Quality of our products is proved by tests performed in our laboratories and tests and measurements carried out during the production process. More sophisticated products are tested in research and testing centers and are subjected to operating tests.

We do not perceive quality as the product quality only. It also somprises all activities taking place inside and outside the company that serve to meet current and future needs of our existing and prospective customers. For that reason we place great emphasis on the role of education of our employees both in the area of their professional knowledge and skills and in the area of quality management and customer relations.

Well-proven means, through which the quality of our products, services and processes is continuously improved, include e.g. teamwork, implementation of TQM and TPM systems and implementation of human resources management projects.

Along with environmental protection and operational health and safety protection, quality control is incorporated in the BONATRANS GROUP Integrated Management System.
