Bonatrans was awarded in the category Event of the Year for preparation and organisation of the 15th International Wheelset Congress that took place in Prague in September 2007. The ACRI Awards are conferred annually under the auspices of the Czech Minister of Transport, in several categories.

Uniqueness of this prestigious award is given by its focus on the Czech railway industry sector. The mission of the contest, backed by Mr. Ales Rebicek the Czech Republic Transport Minister, is to support the Czech railway industry that has a long and significant role in the Czech territory and that has recently gone through a complicated process of revitalization and has again an important standing in the Czech economy.
